Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and guidelines that govern the practices of TAILORED Dog Training and are for the interest of safety, responsibility and welfare of our clients. Please note payment for service also implies full agreement with these Terms and Conditions.

  1.  TAILORED Dog Training cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury, or damage to a person, dog, or property.

  2. During 1-2-1 Sessions your dog must be under control and on a lead in public areas and off lead only when specifically instructed to by the trainer & coach.

  3. During 1-2-1 Sessions your trainer & coach is there to help however, owners remain responsible for their dog at all times.

  4. Training outcomes depend on various factors, including your dog’s temperament and your commitment to following the training plan and advice provided by TAILORED Dog Training.

  5. Please inform TAILORED Dog Training of any health problems at the time of the initial assessment. If a condition may affect training, we may request a note from your vet to ensure sessions are safe and suitable for your dog.

  6.  Owners must provide accurate and honest information regarding their dog’s health, behaviour, and history. Any bite history must be declared at the time of booking.

  7. It is a legal requirement under the Control of Dogs Order 1992 that every dog in a public place must wear a collar with an ID tag displaying the owner's name and address. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure their dog is correctly identified in compliance with this law.

  8. All new 1-2-1 Coaching clients must complete an initial assessment before starting training. If you book further sessions the assessment fee will be deducted from the total.

  9. All payments are to be made via bank transfer unless otherwise specified.

  10. Payment must be made in advance of the service taking place. TAILORED Dog Training reserves the right to cancel any service where payment has not been received within 48 hours of booking.

  11. Cancellation of the following services by client after booking has been confirmed will result in loss of full service cost unless TAILORED Dog Training decides otherwise: Training Packages, Day Training, Training Walks & Group Walks.

  12. No-Show Policy: No refunds or alternative dates/times will be provided for missed 1-2-1 Coaching Sessions, Day Training, Walk &Trains or Pack Walks unless agreed otherwise by TAILORED Dog Training.

  13. Service Cancellation by TAILORED Dog Training: If we need to cancel a service, we will offer an alternative session date.

  14. Refunds are issued at our discretion on a case-by-case basis, and all decisions are final.

  15. During sessions, we may take photos or videos of your dog to track progress and share examples of our training in action. These may be used on our website or social media channels. If you’d prefer your dog not to be featured, please let us know in writing before your session. 

  16. By booking a service with TAILORED Dog Training, you agree with these terms and conditions.

GDPR/Privacy Policy- Any personal data we hold, e.g. name, address, telephone numbers etc will be disposed of after six months to ensure your safety and privacy.
