Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and guidelines that apply when booking services with TAILORED Dog Training and are in place for the safety, responsibility and welfare of our clients and their dogs.

By booking and making payment for a service with TAILORED Dog Training, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Owner Responsibility
During 1:1 Coaching sessions, owners remain responsible for their dog at all times unless the Trainer has specifically taken control of the dog. Dogs must remain under control and on lead in public areas unless specifically instructed otherwise by the Trainer.

2. Training Outcomes
TAILORED Dog Training will provide training and advice based on the individual dog and behaviours being addressed. Training outcomes cannot be guaranteed and will depend on various factors, including your dog's temperament, previous learning, environment and your consistency in following the training plan and advice provided.

3. Health
Owners must inform TAILORED Dog Training of any health conditions, injuries or medication that may affect their dog's training. Where a health condition may affect training, we may recommend veterinary advice before continuing.

4. Behaviour & Bite History
Owners must provide accurate and honest information regarding their dog's behaviour and history. Any known history of aggression or biting must be disclosed before training begins.

TAILORED Dog Training reserves the right to modify or stop a session if continuing would present a safety or welfare concern.

5. Identification
Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog is correctly identified and complies with current legal requirements when in public.

6. Liability
Working with dogs carries inherent risks, particularly where behavioural concerns such as reactivity, aggression or biting are present. Owners are responsible for disclosing any known risks and following the safety and management advice provided.

TAILORED Dog Training will take reasonable care when providing its services and will not be responsible for loss, injury or damage except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

7. Payment
Payment must be made in advance by payment link or bank transfer unless otherwise agreed. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.

Where cash payment has been agreed, payment is due at the agreed time.

8. Training Packages
3-session Coaching Packages must be used within 3 months of the first session.

6-session Coaching Packages must be used within 6 months of the first session.

Any unused sessions remaining after this period will expire unless otherwise agreed by TAILORED Dog Training.

Packages are for the Client and dog they were originally purchased for and cannot be transferred to another person or dog.

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked session.

Where less than 48 hours' notice is given, the session may be treated as used and the session fee retained.

Where a Client cancels a training package after it has begun, any sessions already provided will be deducted from any refund due. Any further cancellation charges will reflect reasonable losses incurred by TAILORED Dog Training.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

10. Missed Sessions
No refunds or alternative dates will normally be provided for missed 1:1 Coaching sessions, Walk & Trains or Pack Walks where the Client fails to attend or make their dog available without providing the required notice.

11. Cancellation by TAILORED Dog Training
If TAILORED Dog Training needs to cancel a service, an alternative date will be offered. If the service cannot be rearranged, payment for the service not provided will be refunded.

12. Photos & Videos
Photos or videos may be taken during training sessions to track your dog's training and progress.

Photos or videos will only be used on the TAILORED Dog Training website, social media or other marketing materials where permission has been given by the Client.

13. Personal Information
Personal information provided to TAILORED Dog Training will only be used where necessary to manage bookings, provide services, communicate with Clients and maintain appropriate business records.

Personal information will be stored securely and retained only for as long as reasonably necessary.

14. Agreement
By booking and/or making payment for a service with TAILORED Dog Training, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
